PrEP daily is taken as one pill every day. PrEP on demand is taken as 2-1-1. This is 2 tablets, 24 hours before sex, 1 tablet 24 hours after then 1 24 hours after that. Timing with PrEP on demand is very important - failure to follow the exact timing can result in no protection against HIV.
